About the Role We are seeking an experienced, proactive Product Owner to join the AI Team within our expanding Product Management organization in Dublin.

This role is central to the agile development and delivery of enterprise-grade compliance solutions used by global financial institutions.

You will translate business objectives and customer needs into clear, testable product requirements, own delivery for one or more product areas, and shape AI-enabled capabilities that influence regulatory and conduct-risk outcomes at scale.

This is a high-visibility role with strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to build domain and leadership depth.

Responsibilities Product planning & backlog management Own and manage the product backlog for assigned AI/product functional areas, ensuring clarity, prioritisation and alignment with strategy and roadmap.

Translate product vision and roadmap into actionable features and sprint deliverables.

Define and maintain clear acceptance criteria and ensure stories meet Definition of Ready (Do R) and Definition of Done (Do D).

Continuously refine backlog items through stakeholder feedback, grooming sessions and sprint reviews.

Maintain transparency on priorities, scope changes and sprint progress across the cross-functional team.

Stakeholder collaboration Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, QA, Tech Ops and business stakeholders to define and validate requirements.

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned product areas, ensuring delivery aligns with user needs, compliance objectives and regulatory constraints.

Facilitate client workshops and internal discussions to gather insights and clarify product behaviour.

Balance business priorities, technical feasibility and user experience considerations.

Delivery ownership Drive sprint execution with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery that meets acceptance criteria.

Support engineering during development by clarifying scope, resolving blockers and reviewing progress.

Work with QA to validate functional and non-functional requirements prior to release.

Ensure release readiness through documentation, communication and stakeholder signoffs.

Contribute to post-release evaluation and continuous improvement using metrics and user feedback.

Solution & UX design support Collaborate with architects and designers to validate technical approaches and ensure scalability and maintainability.

Participate in wireframe and design reviews to confirm alignment with user stories and workflows.

Support prototype validation and ensure delivered features meet intended user expectations and operational needs.

Compliance, security & quality assurance Ensure all features and workflows adhere to security, privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).

Support documentation of data flows, access controls and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability).

Maintain traceability of requirements to delivery artifacts to support audit readiness.

Experiences and Skills Experience6–10 years in Product Owner/Product Manager roles within Saa S or enterprise software environments.

Proven track record translating product vision and stakeholder requirements into well-structured, actionable features and user stories.

Demonstrated success managing product increments from definition through deployment and customer feedback.

Experience collaborating closely with engineering, QA and design teams in Agile delivery settings.

Preferred: domain experience in Fin Tech, Capital Markets, Trade Surveillance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), conduct risk or data analytics.

AI & technical Preferred exposure to AI/ML and automation-driven product features (e.g., LLM-based workflows, RPA, predictive analytics).

Familiarity with AI product lifecycle, prompt engineering concepts and ethical AI considerations.

Technical fluency in APIs, SQL and data structures to support effective collaboration with development teams.

Experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops practices and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) is advantageous.

Delivery & tooling Strong knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog management practices.

Proficient in Jira, Confluence or similar agile collaboration tools.

Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements clearly, supported by testable acceptance criteria.

Skills & leadership Excellent analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Clear, persuasive communication and stakeholder management capabilities across technical and business audiences.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise trade-offs, manage ambiguity and drive outcomes in cross-functional teams.

Collaborative team player with leadership presence and the ability to mentor more junior staff.

Education & certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical discipline (required).

Preferred: MBA or relevant business qualification; Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
