Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity
Our client is a well-established construction company seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Galway region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example in day-to-day surveying functions on contracts.
* Manage the complete QS function, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
* Maximise contract profitability and protect the company's commercial interests.
* Represent and promote the Quantity Surveying function within the region.
* Lead and direct surveying teams in day-to-day operations, recruiting, training, motivating and developing related personnel.
* Focus on cost control, value recovery and techniques to bring continuous benefits to the company.
* Develop a strong client/design team liaison and relationship management culture.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Welfare management systems.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying.
* At least 8 years of experience as a QS, with some experience in managing other Quantity Surveyors.
