In this role, you will lead the application development of new enzyme products for the dairy industry, acting as both a project manager and subject matter expert. You’ll work cross-functionally with global teams, support key customers, and guide the scientific direction of enzyme applications through lab and pilot plant trials.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing segment within Kerry, with strong potential for professional development and career progression.Key responsibilitiesLead dairy enzyme application development for new product innovationServe as subject matter expert for Kerry’s dairy enzyme portfolioManage global cross-functional projects, including customer collaborationsPlan and execute laboratory experiments and pilot plant trialsSupport intellectual property efforts, including patent filings and casesContribute to innovation scouting and competitor benchmarkingTravel up to 10% for customer engagements and internal meetingsQualifications And SkillsPhD in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Dairy Science, or a related fieldProven experience in enzyme research or application, ideally within dairyStrong project management skills, with a track record of taking products from concept to launchProficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretationExperience in patent writing and a working understanding of patent legislationExcellent communication skills, with fluency in EnglishStrong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
