RPS, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a Project Planner to support large multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, commercial and mixed‑use developments, maritime area developments, renewable energy projects, transport projects and residential developments.

What You Will Be Doing
* Collate, analyse and interpret socio‑economic, demographic, policy and related material.
* Write reports summarising analysis, findings and providing clear reasoned advice.
* Solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
* Attend meetings with clients, planning authorities and other stakeholders as a representative of RPS.
* Support business development initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with RPS Quality Assurance procedures.
* Coordinate and manage projects, including preparing and submitting planning applications, planning appeals, site appraisals, planning policy reviews, research related to Local Plan or policy preparation, and co‑ordination of environmental assessments.
* Participate in knowledge sharing events and team‑building activities.
* Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation and industry standards.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Who We Are Looking For
* Experience liaising with clients and providing advice on planning matters.
* Excellent knowledge of planning, development and environmental issues.
* Ability to conduct independent research, analyse and interpret results, prepare reports and formulate recommendations, and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Enthusiasm and initiative to be a well‑rounded town planning consultant.
Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Regional / Urban / City / Town and Country Planning.
* Professionally qualified or chartered (Member of IPI and/or RTPI).
* Professional experience in town planning (after attaining the qualification).
