We are seeking an experienced sonographer to join our team in the Mater Private Cork.Qualifications:CORU registered radiographer with an approved post graduate qualification in ultrasound. CASE accredited post graduate ultrasound program preferred. Experience as a sonographer in an Irish or UK setting preferred.Responsibilities include:Performing a range of ultrasound examinations across abdominal, gynecological, vascular and small parts applications, depending on experienceAnalysis and interpretation of ultrasound images and provide a provisional report to the radiologistProviding good patient care and maintain patient dignity at all timesManaging busy day lists with a mix of outpatient, inpatient and emergency department referralsVetting and protocolling of ultrasound referralsCommunicating effectively with admin staff, radiologists, hospital staff and colleagues
