 
        Vickerstock has partnered up with a top food manufacturing client based in Dublin and Currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Management: Plan, organise, and oversee the daily production schedule to meet output and quality targets. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address operational challenges. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production standards. 2. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of production supervisors, line leads and operatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. Promote a positive working environment that prioritises safety, teamwork, and productivity. 3. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with quality standards, food safety regulations, and customer specifications. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality checks, and compliance reports. 4. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-saving measures. Use data analysis to inform decisions and optimise production workflows. 5. Equipment and Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and functionality of production equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team to minimise downtime. Ensure the production area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. 6. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, NPD, and Technical teams to align production goals with company objectives. Participate in regular meetings to discuss production performance, challenges, and opportunities. Support the launch of new products by ensuring readiness of production lines and processes. 7. Reporting and Metrics: Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 8. Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a strong culture of workplace health and safety. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Key Skills and Competencies: Production Expertise: Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and best practices in FMCG and food manufacturing. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve production issues efficiently and effectively. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and report to senior management. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with production management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools. Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in food science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. Minimum of 4- 5 years experience in a production management role within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale production operations and achieving performance targets. Certification in HACCP or other food safety programs is highly desirable.
