Project Nature (T26) On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department
Duties
Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD; this officer will be required to provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of CSSS-II which is a mission critical system.
To participate in the procurement of computer equipment and services.
To monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments by the contractors.
To coordinate with application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system.
To coordinate with different parties to support system integration with external systems.
To assure the quality of project deliverables.
To supervise Systems Analysts / Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties.

Requirements
solid experience in system implementation
solid experience in contractor management
solid experience in large-scale system infrastructure
solid experience in high availability system configuration
Experience in the procurement of IT products/services is required.
Experience in the support of mission critical system environments is required.
Technical Skills
At least 3 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS)
At least 3 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI)
At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT)
At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI)
3 years' experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage
1.5 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage
Non-technical Skill
At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP)
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
