Job Description We are seeking to employ for a full time Field Service Engineer to join on our growing business. Company Description We supply Automatic CNC Saw & Drill Lines, Shot blasters, Saws, Robotic Welding, Plasma & Laser Machines to the Structural Steel Industry. We carry out Sales, Installations, Service, Maintenance, Operator Training & Troubleshooting/breakdown on these machines & supply consumables & parts. Role Description This role requires travel throughout Ireland and live out as required. This is a full-time role for a Field Services Engineer to work for a Company who are based in Northern Ireland. A team member who will strive to develop & improve our Maintenance Department The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installations, servicing, maintaining and reacting to breakdowns and resolving electrical, mechanical and software faults in PLC controlled machines. Keeping accurate written documentation for the customer. Maintenance of servicing protocols Providing technical support for customers Maintain good communications & team working with customers Flexible approach to travel, willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours if needed Full training will be given The ability to work to deadlines&good time management skills,ability to work independently and manage projects Good written & verbal English Package includes: Vehicle, Fuel card, Living out allowance, Laptop, Specialised Tools & PPE supplied a Pension package is also available. Company end of year profit sharing bonus. Qualifications You will need a strong mechanical, electronic & electrical skillset with a relevant qualification. Experience as a field service engineer or in a relevant industry, Knowledge of Plasma/Laser cutting machines would be an advantage but not essential Experience in technical support Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with schematics, and electrical drawings Knowledge of PLC systems and programming (desirable) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Full clean driving license, valid for driving in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
