We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Spare Parts Assistant to join our growing team in Galway.
Key Responsibilities
Support the daily operations of the Spare Parts Department.
Assist customers in person at the front counter and over the phone.
Identify customer requirements and provide accurate information regarding parts and availability.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for quantity and quality.
Prepare and package items for outgoing deliveries.
Generate and manage documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, and order forms.
Help with inventory management and participate in regular stock checks.
Input and update data accurately within the stock control system.
Maintain a tidy and organised storeroom environment at all times.
Requirements
Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good computer literacy and data entry skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full, clean driver's licence required.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Previous experience in a spare parts or warehouse role is an advantage.
Manual handling will be required.
