Job Description
Assume a pivotal role as an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist in a leading food manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), incorporating HACCP, prerequisite programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor FSMS processes to guarantee compliance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.
2. Conduct thorough site audits, investigate findings, and collaborate with management to ensure timely resolution and close-out of audit observations.
3. Lead cross-functional projects, engaging key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Apply Lean principles to problem-solving, root cause analysis, and change management initiatives.
5. Proactively identify and mitigate product safety risks, implementing corrective and preventative actions to drive continuous improvement.
6. Analyse production quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report trends, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
7. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, conducting robust root cause analysis and implementing timely corrective actions.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science or a related discipline.
* Possess a minimum of 3+ years' experience in QA/QC within a food manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of auditing, HACCP, food legislation, and quality systems.
* Display proven experience in driving continuous improvement and delivering sustainable change.
