At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled engineer to lead the design and development of biopharmaceutical process equipment. As a principal project engineer, you will be responsible for managing small-to-mid-sized projects related to process equipment and manufacturing.
About the Role:

You will work closely with various departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
We are looking for an engineer who has a proven track record in designing and specifying process equipment, piping, and controls. Experience with cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and specifying process equipment, piping, and controls
* Managing small-to-mid sized projects related to process equipment and manufacturing
* Assisting in design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment
* Preparing piping and instrumentation diagrams and other related drawings
* Developing Process Flow Diagrams for manufacturing processes
* Supporting QA Validation department by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution
* Investigating process equipment, utility systems, and control system anomalies, as well as safety incidents
* Implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and manufacturing processes
* Preparing engineering evaluations and test plans for change control documentation
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, combined with strong business acumen and leadership skills.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical engineering
* 8+ years of experience in a similar role
* Demonstrated expertise in designing and specifying process equipment, piping, and controls
* Experience working with cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls
