Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Operations Manager based in Kilkenny. The role involves overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities also include coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory, monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensuring financial targets are met. The Restaurant Operations Manager will serve as a leader, promoting a positive work environment and addressing customer concerns effectively to ensure the restaurant's success.
Qualifications
* Management and leadership skills, including the ability to train, supervise, and motivate staff
* Proficient in financial management, cost control, and achieving revenue targets
* Knowledge of food safety regulations, compliance standards, and health & safety practices
* Problem-solving skills, decision-making ability, and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Flexibility to work during peak restaurant hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is highly desirable
* Degree or certification in hospitality management, business administration, or related field is a plus
