Job Description:

At C&D Foods Edgeworthstown, we require a Craft Technician (Electrical) working on a 12-hour continental shift pattern within our Engineering Department.
Shift Pattern
The shifts are 6 am-6 pm and 6 pm-6 am, with the following cycle:
Week 1: In Monday and Tuesday, Off Wednesday, and In Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Week 2: Off Monday and Tuesday, In Wednesday and Thursday, Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production machinery and plant services, including PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley), electrical cabinets, containment, sensors, testing equipment, debugging, systems development, programming, and utilities like steam, air, water, etc.

Qualifications:
* Candidates should be qualified to senior trades level or hold comparable European NFQ qualifications, such as NCEA Cert., Diploma in Electro-Mechanical discipline, FETAC Level 6 accreditation, or equivalent (e.g., Solas apprenticeship, City & Guilds apprenticeship).
