Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years of experience and specializes in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home, supporting multiple therapies:
* Home Oxygen
* Nebulisers
* Ventilations
* Sleep
We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field-based operations team consists of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing, and removal.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
We are a leading healthcare service provider supplying a range of oxygen and adult & pediatric respiratory services to thousands of patients in their homes across Ireland. This position will support Galway.
Installing medical and medicinal products and providing instructions to the patients and service users on the proper usage of these products. Maintaining this product for its duration with the patient and removal of product when required. This position is 8:30 - 17:00 and the shifts are 5 over 6 days Monday to Saturday. As we supply support with medical devices, 24-hour cover is required and employees will have to take part in on-call work on a Rota basis.
Prerequisites:
* Full Clean Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years.
* Technical knowledge.
* Attention to detail.
* Organisation and task prioritisation skills.
* Ability to see the big picture.
* Proactiveness.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work quickly under pressure.
* Exceptional people skills, be self-motivated and interested in working with patients to improve their lives by delivering exceptional customer service
* Ideally have previous experience in a field-based technical sales background.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in technical repairs and proven attention to detail.
* Computer literate/practical working IT Skills.
* Willingness and commitment to take on a variety of tasks.
* Have a good geographical knowledge of the area, and willing to travel on occasion to cover other regions of the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation/service of medical oxygen equipment.
* Installation/service of ventilation equipment.
* Providing training and technical support to our patients and their families.
* Providing product knowledge to both the private sector and Hospital environment.
* Provide after-hours patient support on a roster basis.
