*Role Overview:*As a Warehouse & Coldstore Operations Manager, you'll report directly to the General Manager, overseeing daily operations. Your responsibilities include team motivation, task delegation, and maintaining high standards to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.*Key Duties:*- Lead and motivate the warehouse team.- Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and address disciplinary issues.- Maintain a positive work environment and ensure shift targets are met.- Delegate tasks effectively and resolve issues promptly.- Assume full responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations.- Manage labor proactively to meet customer needs.- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.- Monitor performance linked to KPIs to optimize efficiencies.- Oversee inventory, orders, and stock management processes.- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.- Provide excellent customer service.- Manage site facilities and coordinate repairs.- Ensure employee training in safe work practices.- Ensure health and safety compliance.- Maintain accurate records and reports.*Requirements:*- Previous experience in food or temperature-controlled warehouses.- Minimum 3 years' experience managing a team of over 10 employees.- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.- Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.- Strong delegation and motivation skills.- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.- Flexibility with working hours.- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.- Knowledge of health and safety and BRC requirements.
