The main duties of this role will include but are not limited to the following:
* Increase OTC sales through link selling
* Advise and assist customers with all store products
* Engaging actively with customers and provide a high standard in customer service
* Merchandising, Stock management & product knowledge

* Ensuring the tidiness of the shop is to a high standard
* Handing out & taking in prescriptions and advising customers on their expected waiting time

The successful candidate should:
* Have a minimum 6 MONTHS PHARMACY OTC sales experience
* IPU Pharmacy counter assistant course a benefit
* Min 3 days per week to a max 5 days per week available on a fixed rota basis
* have outstanding customer service skills
* have a good knowledge of OTC products
* have experience in skincare and other pharmacy retail lines
* have fluent English and excellent communication skills
* be willing to work as part of a team but also able to take initiative
* have strong communication skills and have the ability to get along with a variety of different personalities
* have good prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skills
* ensure confidentiality and be empathetic to the customer's needs
* be flexible and willing to learn
* have good attention to detail and strive for continuous improvement
* have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
Experience:
* Previous OTC Pharmacy Sales/Medical Sales experience is preferred but not essential
* Computer literacy is desirable
