As a result of King and Moffatt Building Services securing a number of new projects in the Dublin area, we are now looking to hire experienced Mechanical Foremen, to play a key role in the successful delivery of these projects.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and Irish building regulations.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
* Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
* Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, labour hours, and site issues.
* Assist in resolving technical or coordination issues on-site.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Experience working on commercial, industrial, or data centre projects is an advantage.
* Full, clean driving licence (desirable).
