The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a pivotal role in the execution of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
* Lead conceptual design of high voltage cable projects, interfacing with substations and overhead line equipment.
* Develop and refine detailed designs, including cable ratings and bonding systems.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on internal and external designs to ensure compliance with relevant specifications.
* Establish and maintain design risk assessments for all engineering deliverables.
* Mentor and support junior staff development, promoting technical capability across the group.
* Cultivate effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance projects through all lifecycle stages and governance gates.
