My client is an established 3 partner-chartered accountancy firm based in, Co Meath. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality-chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. They have a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.Due to rapid growth, they are looking to add to their team an Audit SeniorGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverablesManagement of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departmentsInvolvement in training of student traineesPreparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.Preparation and Completion of audit/audit exempt financial statementsPreparation of tax returns – primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for reviewPreparation of budgets and cash flow projectionsDealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc and also Revenue auditsPreparation of Working Papers (paperless) & Financial Statements in accordance withRelevant Procedures and StandardsInvestigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposalEnsure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframeCarry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient mannerAchieve fee targets for assigned portfolioPrepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clientsQualifications & Experience:Qualified accountant with experience of working in a practice environment is essentialAn in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing StandardsCurrently working as a senior in a practice environmentExperience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationshipsSome tax experience desirableCCH Accounts ProductionExcel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)Must have a full driver's licence and carSalary and benefits€60,000-€65,00010 % bonusHybrid working and early finish on FridaysPaid membership feesFlexible working hoursAnnual leaveFor more information on this role or any other Accountancy roles contact Conal O'Connor on, or e-mail or click on the apply button belowTo view all live jobs with Brightwater and market insights, please visit our website;
