Education and Professional Standards Manager The role also oversees the PSIs work in relation strategic workforce planning for pharmacy, and deliverables relating to education and professional standards that are required to support an expanded scope of practice for pharmacists in Ireland. This is a fixed-term contract of approximate 2 years duration. Candidates must have, on the closing date for receipt of applications: level 8 degree or equivalent qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in an area such as the health professions, life sciences, social sciences, education. A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience, to include experience in people management. Detailed understanding of the requirements for the effective delivery of healthcare professional education and training, including accreditation and assessment against standards. Experience in successful strategic project delivery. Experience in managing contractors/third-party providers. In addition, the following are considered desirable: A level 9 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications. Recent experience in areas such as, but not limited to, third level education delivery and quality assurance systems; the development of standards for the provision of third-level education; CPD systems for professionals; healthcare professional regulation; regulatory compliance. Project Management qualification/training. Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives. Proficiency in the Irish language.
