We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Leader to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating and managing subcontractors, trades and labour.
Responsibilities:
* Implementing daily and weekly programmes to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
* Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
* Attending weekly site meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.
* Providing assistance to the Site Manager as required.
* Coordinating and delegating tasks to meet project goals and priorities.
* Ensuring that employees have adequate resources to meet project demands.
* Supervising, training and giving feedback to workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
* A degree in a Construction/Engineering related discipline or trade qualifications.
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required to identify and mitigate potential risks.
* The successful candidate must have 5+ years of experience in similar projects.
* Able to form strong and productive relationships with peers at all levels.
* Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
