A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a proven track record in managing projects and overseeing financial aspects from budgeting to cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate cost advice and create detailed cost plans for projects, from initial feasibility through to construction completion.
* Manage and control project finances, cost reporting and forecasting to ensure timely delivery.
* Organize and manage subcontract packages, including procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts.
* Monitor project cash flow and work closely with the finance team.
* Regularly visit project sites to ensure accurate recording and reporting of project costs.
* Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
* Support in preparing and submitting tenders, including pricing and estimating.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* At least 6 years of experience in a similar role with building contractors.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to manage and prioritize workload effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Holding a full driving license and willing to travel to project sites.
