Overview
INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for a busy civils contractor to cover civils projects in Meath.
The role focuses on coordinating Health & Safety across the organisation and supporting and developing policies to reduce potential risks.
Responsibilities
Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Senior Management Team
Manage and maintain the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures
Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
Ensure regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
Ensure that all accidents/incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding Health & Safety processes within the company
Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
Attend meetings with Senior Management
Attend Site Meetings
Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Specification / Qualifications
Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
5 years plus experience in a similar position
Able to manage a Health & Safety team
Excellent communicator
NEBOSH Certification
Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
Full driving licence
