We are looking for Electrical Engineers to join our team.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineers to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects within the utilities, data centers, and general industry sectors. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of engineering deliverables, contributing to innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement in our processes.
We also require Irish project experience, be it utility, Data center's or general industry to be considered for this position.
Your Responsibilities
* Technical Contribution:
o Act as a technical lead and approve design deliverables.
o Review all project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
o Anticipate and solve unprecedented problems and crucial issues.
o Serve as a specialist in advanced concepts and methods.
* Sales Support:
o Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
o Provide bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, and other necessary documentation.
* Contract Management:
o Support Contract Managers in issuing claims related to scope changes, cost impacts, and time impacts.
o Deliver quality solutions within budget and contract specifications.
o Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.
* Planning and Control:
o Create work plans and cost estimates for assigned projects.
o Review and approve scope, budget, and schedule for assignments.
o Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of quality deliverables.
* Risk and Opportunity Management:
o Develop and execute strategies for managing risks and opportunities.
o Identify and manage contract risks, taking corrective actions as needed.
o Report outstanding issues to management with recommendations for resolution.
Your background
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in electrical engineering within the utilities, data centers, or general industry sectors.
* HV Experience
* Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address complex issues.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
