Talbot Hotel Cork, part of the Talbot Collection, is currently recruiting for an experienced Front Office Supervisor.
Main Duties:
1. Work with the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Reception desk, meeting guest requests and maximizing revenue.
2. Coordinate solutions promptly when guests encounter problems in their rooms by collaborating with housekeeping and/or service staff.
3. Communicate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping or maintenance, regarding room readiness and repairs.
4. Work closely with the Front Office Manager and Revenue Manager to maintain consistent communication.
5. Ensure all standard operational procedures are followed by all staff on duty.
6. Assist in staff training.
7. Handle and resolve customer complaints, ensuring high guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have:
* Familiarity with the Hot Soft system.
* At least 2 years' hotel reception experience in a 4/5-star hotel environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Friendly and professional attitude.
* Fluent English, both written and spoken.
* Availability to work variable shifts, including weekends.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
This position involves shift work and weekend hours.
