Hi-Therm Homes Ltd. are looking for a talented Design Manager/Coordinator to help bring to join our rapidly growing business.
We manufacture fully insulated precast concrete structures for the domestic housing, residential & commercial sectors.
We pride ourselves on delivering high quality structures in record time.
This role is a permanent, full-time position with great opportunities available for the right person.
In this role, you'll coordinate the design and detailing of projects, working closely with architects, engineers, production, and construction teams.
From reviewing drawings and 3D models to managing shop drawings, you'll play a key role in turning design concepts into reality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinate the design and detailing of for each project
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Review accuracy of shop drawings, 3D models, and supporting documentation
Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design challenges
Align design schedules with project milestones, managing approvals and revisions
Support production teams with practical, manufacturable design solutions
Serve as the primary liaison between design and construction stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
3–5 years' experience in precast concrete design or construction of RC buildings
Strong understanding of structural design principles and precast manufacturing processes
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
No requirement to use CAD, Revit, Tekla, etc - all projects are modelled by external consultants and reviewed using BIM viewing software
Desired Skills:

Attention to detail with practical, hands-on knowledge
