Flexsource are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for our client based in Limerick
Our client is part of a Premium Hotel Brand, with location based Nationwide across Ireland with specific focused on comfort, style and premium quality
Key responsibilities:
1. Hands on and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and ability to control service from the front to ensure maximum results during peak periods.
2. Responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen areas and personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items to the highest standards.
3. Co-ordinates roster scheduling, labour costs, assists with recruitment and oversees staff productivity and performance.
4. Passionate and creative with developing and implementing new menu ideas for special events and changing with the seasons.
5. Ability to prioritise, organise and delegate work assignments and to oversee staff performance with prompt follow up where required.
6. Oversee and direct training of new hires and maintain an on-going training program for existing staff.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* hotel environment
8. Possess strong communication and organisational skills
9. Have the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
10. Fluent in both verbal and written English.
11. Smart menu planning, support stock control and margins
Hours: Full Time, 5/7 days per week (40-45h per week)
Salary: €60k-€70k DOE
