Senior Library Professional
This is a key role within the library, reporting to the librarian and playing an important part in the ongoing development of our services.
About the Role:
* Support the delivery of proactive, cost-effective, and efficient library and information services for teaching and research requirements by effectively managing teams and leading by example.
* Assist with day-to-day administration of the campus library under the guidance of the librarian, collaborating with the library rostering team to provide cover during opening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and implement strategic and operational library developments to meet the university's objectives by working collaboratively with various teams.
2. Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed, ensuring high-quality services are delivered.
3. Contribute to the achievement of library goals by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
