We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in Cork, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of key technologies that enable the evolution of new surgical techniques in electrosurgery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for electrosurgery applications. You will work closely with a multi-disciplined team at our Innovation Centre in Cork and focus on establishing the needs of our customers.
The centre features unique design and collaboration workspaces, state-of-the-art prototyping and test facilities, and a simulated operating room. The centre focuses on improving patient safety and outcomes during surgery while increasing operating room efficiency across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, developing, refining, and evaluating electro-mechanical components assemblies or subsystems
* Applying concurrent engineering principles to reduce product time-to-market whilst adhering to project deadlines product costs
You will also be responsible for mentoring others applying advanced engineering theories principles concepts as well as contributing executing customer-facing activities like voice customer centric design partnerships internal external stakeholders company.
