Job summary:
HR Manager, responsible to manage and execute all facets of the HR function for our site in Ireland. The ideal candidate will bring strong recruitment capabilities, a solid understanding of local employment laws and compliance requirements, and the ability to manage the full employee lifecycle including Hiring, Training& Development, Payroll, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Retention etc. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, small-scale manufacturing or similar environment.
Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to attract top talent across all levels.
* Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and statutory requirements. Maintain and update HR policies in alignment with local regulations and business needs.
* Oversee the complete employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—including contracts, HR documentation, data management, and employee queries.
* Serve as a trusted advisor, handle employee concerns, and support conflict resolution in a fair and professional manner.
* Drive initiatives to enhance engagement and support retention of key talent.
* Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate processing. Support the administration of benefits, audits, and local taxation matters.
* Responsible for compensation structure development, facilitate annual salary review, adjustment, promotion cycle.
* Lead the performance management cycle for the site, including goal setting and reviews, partner with line managers to ensure timely and constructive evaluations, support development planning.
* Support career development by working with managers to identify growth opportunities, create development plans, and guide employees in building meaningful career paths within the organization
* Create Training Matrix, Annual Training Plan and ensure all trainings are conducted in accordance with plan, including maintenance of accurate record of training.
* Champion the integration of culture into daily site practices, ensuring alignment with global initiatives and actively driving cultural consistency across all local and corporate efforts.
* Manage and prepare the site-level HR budget, ensuring alignment with operational needs and company-wide financial goals.
Qualification :
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.
* 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in an HR leadership or standalone role. Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is a plus.
* Strong recruitment experience across technical and non-technical roles
* In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance
* Proficient in HR policy drafting and implementation
* Solid understanding of the entire HR lifecycle and best practices
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities
* Comfortable in a hands-on role with both strategic and operational responsibilities
