Job Overview
Take responsibility for supply chain management, ordering, production planning, and warehousing to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to business strategy for high customer service and operational efficiency.
* Manage end-to-end materials, products, and warehouse operations.
* Develop systems and processes to improve performance metrics.
* Establish Supply Chain functions to support business growth.
* Optimize stock holding of materials and finished goods.
Warehouse Management
* Ensure safe, efficient, and effective warehouse operations.
* Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
* Implement best practices across all warehouse functions.
* Ensure accurate and secure inventory management.
Inbound Raw Materials
* Order raw materials timely in line with production requirements.
* Oversee order quantities, delivery terms, and supplier performance.
* Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies.
* Monitor supplier contracts and performance.
Production Planning
* Lead the planning function to maximize production efficiencies while meeting customer expectations.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of operations.
Logistics
* Collaborate with internal and external logistics providers for cost-effective operations.
* Communicate transport issues promptly and minimize disruption.
Required Skills
* Third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.
* Minimum 8 years' experience in a Warehouse or Logistics environment.
* Experience working in a Lean environment is an advantage.
