This role sits within the Training Department at Codeblue and is responsible for the coordination, quality, and day-to-day delivery of all training programmes delivered under the American Heart Association (AHA), Irish Heart Foundation (IHF), and Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG).
The role reports to Senior Management and works closely with the Training Administrator, instructor team, logistics personnel, and the wider office and operations teams. It suits a dependable and highly organised professional who thrives in a structured environment but is also flexible and responsive to changing priorities and demands across multiple sites and training partners.
The Training Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining quality, consistency, and client satisfaction across all training delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee the delivery of all training courses across AHA, IHF, and ALSG programmes.
* Supervise and guide the Training Administrator, ensuring all work meets Codeblue's standards of accuracy, professionalism, and consistency.
* Liaise with instructors regarding schedules, materials, accommodation, and general coordination.
* Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and course participants, handling all queries and issues promptly.
* Oversee course logistics, including timely hotel bookings for instructors, with a strong focus on planning ahead and securing best-value rates.
* Ensure the phone is answered during working hours, and that missed calls are followed up promptly.
* Respond to emails clearly, professionally, and with sufficient detail to resolve queries without repeated follow-up.
* Maintain full and accurate records of course delivery and instructor activities, ensuring reporting is consistent with the requirements of the IHF, AHA, ALSG, and internal policy.
* Issue quotations and invoices using established company processes and systems.
* Follow agreed systems for scheduling, documentation, record-keeping, and communication. Any changes or improvements to existing systems should be developed collaboratively and agreed in advance.
* Provide general support to management across the training division, including reporting, course planning, and quality assurance.
* This role may evolve over time, and the successful candidate should be open to taking on additional responsibilities within the training division, as agreed with management.
Requirements
* Experience in training coordination, administration, or a similar role.
* Proven ability to oversee others and ensure quality of work.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Financial awareness, with the ability to manage bookings and issue quotations/invoices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Familiarity with AHA, IHF, and ALSG training formats is desirable but not essential.
* A structured and consistent approach to systems and processes, with a willingness to improve and adapt collaboratively.

* €19.50 per hour.
