We are seeking an experienced and skilled Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Nursing Home, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer incoming telephone calls and forward them to the relevant personnel or departments.
">
2. Greet visitors and guests professionally, determine their purpose and direct them to the appropriate destination or waiting room.
">
3. Monitor access to the nursing home.
">
4. Collect, sort, distribute and prepare correspondence, mail, messages and courier deliveries.
">
5. Schedule appointments and provide a PA service to the Director of Nursing.
">
6. Carry out various ad hoc duties as required.
">

Requirements:
">
The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical and general administrative skills, knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office specifically MS Word, MS Excel and email, good communication and organisational skills, a friendly, positive, confident, well-presented and customer-focused attitude, a professional telephone manner, a genuine interest in working within a caring environment, an appreciation of absolute requirement for confidentiality and the ability to work on own initiative.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of €13.50 per hour. We also offer a range of benefits including bike to work scheme, company events, food allowance and on-site parking.

Others:

The successful candidate must be able to commute/relocate to Ballyhaunis, CO. Mayo reliably and have a valid work authorisation for Ireland. Experience of administration and Microsoft Office is required.

Desired Qualifications:

ECDL qualification or equivalent, qualification and/or previous experience of accounting computer packages and knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to the role.
