Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will focus on identifying operational inefficiencies and developing strategies to drive productivity, optimise costs, and enhance profitability. Key Responsibilities: Oversee, monitor, and analyse operational and financial processes to identify improvement opportunities. Provide management KPIs and insights for tracking costs, budgets, and margins. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement cost control measures and reduce operational expenses. Conduct variance analysis between budget forecasts and actual results, recommending corrective actions where necessary. Lead and develop site finance teams to support operational and supply chain excellence. Enhance financial systems, policies, and procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting. Oversee the customer tendering process, ensuring products are costed accurately and competitively. Project manage the implementation of a new IT System. Represent finance at monthly management meetings and provide ad hoc analysis for the Divisional Finance Director and General Manager. Requirements: Ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous experience in management or a supervisory role in operations/finance. Previous IT System implementation is desirable.
