Job Description
Vialto is seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to support Employee Relations (ER), Works Councils (WoCo), and new employment legislation readiness across EMEA during a period of business transformation.
This role focuses on governance, coordination, and readiness — ensuring the business remains compliant with local labor laws, Works Council obligations, and EU Pay Transparency requirements while enabling smooth execution of business change.
Key Responsibilities
Works Councils & Employee Representatives (EMEA)
* Own oversight of Works Councils and Employee Representative structures across EMEA
* Review existing agreements, consultation requirements, governance structures, and statutory obligations
* Build and maintain centralized trackers covering agreements, timelines, elections, and country-specific risks
* Identify compliance risks, gaps, and blockers related to transformation activities
* Establish review cycles (annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc) tied to restructuring, legal changes, or M&A
* Develop readiness frameworks for new Works Council elections and first-time employee representative consultations
EU Pay Transparency & New Legislation Readiness
* Partner with Employment Counsel and Compensation to interpret country-specific Pay Transparency requirements
* Assess current-state readiness across EMEA
* Coordinate consultation and governance requirements with Works Councils and Employee Representatives
* Track legislative timelines, risks, and dependencies
* Ensure alignment between ER processes, reward governance, and legal obligations
Employee Relations Governance & Risk Management
* Standardize ER documentation, tracking, and reporting across EMEA
* Develop regionally aligned ER guidelines and escalation frameworks
* Implement oversight mechanisms to proactively identify ER trends and risks
* Partner with HR, Legal, and business leaders to support compliant and consistent ER practices
Manager Enablement
* Support initiatives to build manager capability in handling ER matters
* Provide practical guidance on early issue identification, fair resolution, and Works Council engagement
Key Outcomes
* Organizational readiness for EU Pay Transparency legislation across EMEA
* Reduced ER, Works Council, and legislative compliance risk
* Improved visibility and consistency of ER and Works Council activity
* Strong alignment between legal requirements, reward governance, and people strategy
* Increased readiness for new Works Council or Employee Representative formations
Skills & Experience
* Proven HR project management experience in multi-country environments
* Strong knowledge of Employee Relations and Works Councils, particularly in EMEA
* Experience supporting new employment legislation (pay transparency preferred)
* Strong stakeholder management skills with Legal, Compensation, and HR leadership
* Highly organized with experience building trackers, frameworks, and governance models
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving structure during change
Ideal Background
* HR Transformation, ER Governance, HR COE, or Reward-adjacent project roles
* Experience supporting Works Councils during restructuring, transformation, or M&A
* Exposure to European labor relations and regulatory frameworks
