Assistant Director of Nursing and Nurse Practice Development Professional
The role is designed to support the Director of Nursing and their clinical team in a private healthcare facility in Dublin.
1. Maintain high standards of nursing care by planning projects that strengthen nursing practice.
2. Develop and update nursing policies and procedures to meet best practices and regulatory requirements.
3. Function as Person-in-Charge when required, ensuring compliance with Health Act 2007 and HIQA standards.
4. Delegate tasks appropriately, considering staff competence and experience.
5. Evaluate all legal, professional, and regulatory standards for adherence.
* Be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.
* Hold a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role.
* Possess evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with relevant NPD qualification.
* Have a post-registration qualification in Caring for People with Dementia.
