This position is for the Tennis and Badminton Club, Mullingar, Westmeath. This is a part-time position with 15 hours per week @ €240 weekly.
About the Role
Our Tennis & Badminton Club is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Part-Time Administrator to support the smooth running of our membership system, coaching programmes, and day-to-day club operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong administrative skills, and wants to be part of a vibrant sports community.
Key Responsibilities
Club Membership Administration
* Manage the registration of new members and maintain accurate records in the club management system
* Welcome and communicate with new members, ensuring a positive first experience
* Oversee the collection, reconciliation, and reporting of membership fees
* Provide regular updates and reports to the Club Committee and President
Coaching Programme Administration
* Register players for adult and junior coaching programmes
* Liaise with parents, coaches, and committee members to coordinate schedules and classes
* Create and update coaching classes within the club's management system
* Support cash collection and reconciliation for coaching sessions
* Assist in organising and communicating programme information to members
Club Support & Governance
* Attend committee meetings and provide administrative support
* Process Garda Vetting documents for coaches, volunteers, and members where required
* Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth club operations
Key Competencies & Skills
* Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and internet applications
* Confident in using and managing social media platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook) for club communication and promotion
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with coaches, parents, and committee members
* Strong organisational skills for typing, filing, and managing reports/documents
* Previous experience with sports clubs, committees, or voluntary organisations is highly desirable
