Overview
Our client is a leading food manufacturing company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. They are expanding their quality team and seeking a QA Technician to support their operations in Naas.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Quality Lead, the QA Technician will play a key role in ensuring products meet the company's high standards and regulatory requirements. This position is based fully on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct quality checks and audits in line with company and regulatory standards
* Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and procedures
* Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards
* Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions
* Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
* Collaborate with production and other departments to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
* Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
* 6-12 months\' experience in a food manufacturing facility
* Strong understanding of HACCP and quality management systems
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Must be living within a commutable distance of Kildare
* Full eligibility to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
