We’re currently supporting a client in their search for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks and responsibilities:Build strong relationships with merchants, contractors, and specifiers, ensuring products become their solution of choice. Use these relationships to create specifications, promote a complete package where relevant, and secure sales.Convert new users to products in line with agreed sales objectives.Complete a minimum of 150 customer activities per quarter in line with agreed call patterns.Maintain accurate records of activity (e.g. customer contact details, call reports, project data) within the CRM system, ensuring all information is updated in a timely manner.Deliver contractor training sessions and provide on-site support, ensuring correct installation and product competency.Ensure merchants are fully trained and actively promote products as their preferred offering.Achieve and exceed agreed regional sales targets.Submit details of secured projects to the marketing team for use in case studies and promotional materials.Collaborate closely with specification-focused colleagues to convert all specified projects into sales.Develop specifications to support the creation and growth of a strong project pipeline.Work closely with the business support team to maximise performance and opportunities within the region.
