Research Analyst

€70,000 - €76,000 per annum
A leading global technology company is seeking a Research Analyst II to join its Government & Social Impact (GSI) team. This team's mission is to empower governments and social impact partners to understand and utilize emerging technologies to build trust and strengthen communities.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining large-scale global data sets in the civic and government space. You'll collaborate with international teams, support election-related operations, test data systems, and contribute to building more efficient and automated data management processes.
Sounds great What will my day-to-day look like?
1. Manage, review, and maintain large government and political data sets.
2. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure policy-compliant and equitable data practices.
3. Perform manual and QA reviews of data workbooks and government lists.
4. Use SQL, Excel, and Python to extract, validate, and manipulate data for insights.
5. Upload and maintain data within internal CRM platforms.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams.
7. Analyze support flows, identify data anomalies, and recommend process improvements.
8. Participate in testing engineering deliverables, including upload templates and data pipelines.
9. Oversee and QA the work of data auditors, particularly during elections or high-priority projects.
Required Qualifications
10. 5–10 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or a similar role.
11. Strong communication skills — able to distill complex data for various internal audiences.
12. Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools.
13. Experience reading or querying databases and validating dashboards or data reports.
14. Demonstrated ability to interpret data and propose actionable business insights.
What do I need?
15. Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting/statistical tools.
16. Understanding of government and elections landscapes across international regions.
17. Background in systems engineering, technical program management, or related technical fields.
18. Experience developing or testing automated data pipelines or internal tooling.
19. Exposure to auditing or compliance data review processes.
