Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in healthcare compliance, auditing, and governance? At Comfort Keepers, we're seeking a detail-drivenHR & Regulatory Compliance Officerto take ownership of our HR compliance processes across our nationwide homecare services.This is a process-focused role (not people management) where you'll play a key part in ensuring our organisation consistently meets Irish employment law, HIQA, HSE, and internal governance standards.The RoleAs the HR & Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining HR compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and regulatory processes across the organisation. Your focus will be on policy governance, data preparation, audit support, vetting cycles, and training compliance.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with Irish employment law and healthcare regulationsConduct internal HR compliance audits and prepare documentation and reports for internal and external reviewsCoordinate and support external audits and inspections (e.g. HIQA, HSE, ISO)Support employment eligibility checks, Garda Vetting, and periodic re-verification processesManage HR compliance tracking for mandatory training, documentation, and reportingMonitor legislative and regulatory changes and assist in drafting and updating policies accordinglyWhat You'll BringMinimum 5 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in a hands-on compliance, audit, or governance-focused roleCIPD qualification or membership desirableExperience in a regulated environment (healthcare, social care, public sector) highly advantageousStrong working knowledge of HIQA standards, Irish employment law, Garda Vetting, safeguarding, and compliance auditsHighly organised, process-driven, and meticulous in approachStrong document control, data management, and reporting skillsConfident using HR systems, excel and handling sensitive informationBased in Ireland; role is anchored in Santry, Dublin 17, with flexibility to travel nationwide as requiredWhat We OfferSalary: €40,000 - €45,000, depending on experienceBonus potentialFuel card for business travelOpportunity to take ownership of critical compliance processesCareer development and progression opportunitiesSupportive, collaborative HR team environmentThe chance to make a meaningful impact in a growing healthcare organisation
