*Electrical Shift Technician**Location: Dublin 8**Duration: Permanent*Shift Role: 4 on, 4 off*Overview of the Role:*The Technician will work as part of the Veolia Operations & Maintenance team in providing Utilities in support of the client's business Tasks include, but are not limited to Plant rounds; preventative maintenance, and plant repairs.*Day to Day of the Role:*Rounds & readings of utilities systems (Water treatment; Waste Water neutralisation; Carbon Dioxide recovery, Nitrogen generation, Compressed air and refrigeration systemsShift position 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off. 2 thirds days 1 third nightsReview spare parts requirementsComplete on-site and vendor trainingOperation of site utilities in support of projects & commissioningAssist in definition of site safety systemsCompletion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelinesDelivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirementsKeep training current in line with client's requirements, i.e. SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures),.All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines*Required Skills for the Role:*Electrical engineering degree or diploma desirable5 years industrial experience in a similar roleElectrical/ Instrumentation Senior Trade, City & Guilds or equivalentSenior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in ElectricalAll work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelinesPlease note:If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland.If you are a non-EU/EEA national, you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.Information on legislation and guides to the procedures in relation to obtaining greencard permits ,work permits, spousal/dependant permits is available on the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation website.Here at Veolia, we're proud to be known as an equal opportunities employer.
