Daily wash down washers, dryers and laundry tables, clean vents and mop floorsSupport the housekeeping staff in the completion of daily laundry within Moorehall Lodge Drogheda.Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of linen, towels and Residents' personal clothing, and to ensure an adequate supply of these items at all timesSort washing into Households and process it through the washer, drier and ironPerform minor repairs to Residents' clothingEnsure that all clothes are labelled with residents' names, are laundered and returned to the rightful ownerBe responsible for the separate disinfection, washing, drying and storing of all cleaning clothes, mop heads etc. used in cleaning and disinfections processes throughout Moorehall Lodge DroghedaPerform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishingEnsure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standardsProtect equipment and make sure there are no inadequaciesNotify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbancesDeal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patienceCheck stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriateAdhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practicesWhy work for us?Teamwork and excellent provision of care are at the core of everything we do.
