About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative, energetic and digitally native Social Media & Marketing Executive to become the digital voice of Dublin city centre.
This is a hands‑on content creation role, ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content engaging, and has a genuine passion for Dublin's culture, businesses and city‑centre experience.
The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment and will play a key role in creating content that showcases the best of Dublin, promotes member businesses and drives engagement across their digital channels.

Reports to the Acting Head of Marketing
Key Responsibilities
Create engaging social media content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Develop creative content campaigns to promote Dublin city centre and drive footfall
Produce original photography and video content
Capture behind‑the‑scenes content, event coverage and city‑centre stories
Stay up to date with social media trends and emerging content formats
Bring fresh, creative ideas for social‑first campaigns
Actively engage with the online community
Collaborate with member businesses to identify content opportunities
Create graphics and branded content using Canva and other design tools
Write engaging captions, short‑form copy and marketing content
Support wider marketing activity, events and campaigns
Help maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across digital platforms

Essential Skills and Experience
Strong social media knowledge across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Experience creating photo and video content
Ability to edit short‑form video for social platforms
Strong copywriting and caption‑writing skills
Good design sense and experience using Canva or similar tools
Creative approach to storytelling and community engagement
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple content priorities
Confident communication style
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
