Job Specification: Production CNC Operator

Location: County Louth

Our client prides themselves on creating bespoke luxury cabinetry and custom-built rooms. They work with clients to bring their visions to life through expertly crafted furniture and high-end finishes. Their dedication to quality and innovation has made them a trusted name in the industry.

Now we are looking for a highly skilled Production CNC Operator to join their team. This role will involve working with our advanced CNC machinery to manufacture custom furniture pieces, ensuring precision and quality in all stages of production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce bespoke furniture pieces.
2. Interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production of cabinetry and furniture.
3. Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running efficiently and accurately.
4. Conduct quality control checks at each stage of production to ensure products meet the company's high standards.
5. Ensure machines are well-maintained and perform routine maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
6. Work closely with the design and production teams to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while operating machinery and in the workshop environment.
8. Ensure a clean and organised workspace to maintain high levels of safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

9. Proven experience in operating CNC machines, experience with 5-axis CNC machines is an advantage but not essential.
10. Background in furniture production or bespoke cabinetry manufacturing is highly desirable.
11. Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
12. Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on precision and quality.
13. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
14. Experience in operating other machinery such as edge banders and routers is a plus.
15. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
16. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
17. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

18. Previous experience working within the luxury furniture or cabinetry sector.
19. Knowledge of different materials, including wood, stone, and composites.
20. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
21. A passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
