We are currently recruiting for skilled Nursing professionals to join our multidisciplinary team in providing care and support to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.

\

About the Role

\
1. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with diverse needs.
\
2. Collaborate closely with the team to ensure person-centered service delivery and achieve outstanding outcomes.
\
3. Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge and skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
\
4. Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
\
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the goals and objectives of the team.
\
\
6. Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike.
\
7. Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
\
8. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain high standards of care and safety.
\
9. Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field.
\
10. Use effective communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.
\
11. Respond promptly and professionally to concerns or complaints raised by residents, family members, or colleagues.
\
12. Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence.
\
13. Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, including assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
\
14. Act as a key contact point for residents, family members, and other stakeholders to address queries and provide information.

Requirements

\
\
15. Hold current registration as a Staff Nurse on the register maintained by An Bord Altranais.
\
16. Possess RNID qualifications or other suitable nursing qualifications.
\
17. Demonstrate excellent communication (both verbal and written), organisational skills, flexibility, and commitment.
\
18. Relevant experience of working with people who have behaviours that challenge is an advantage.
\
19. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to achieving shared goals and objectives.
\
20. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to respond effectively to complex situations.
\
21. Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
\
22. Ability to travel between different locations as required by the role.
\
23. Basic computer literacy and ability to use software applications relevant to the role.
\
24. Positive attitude towards lifelong learning and professional development.
\
\

Benefits

We offer full-time and part-time contracts with salaries paid in line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales.
