Overview
Medforce are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our client\'s Children’s Service in South Dublin. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychological assessment, intervention, and support to children and families. Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention to children with a range of developmental, emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
* Work in partnership with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, service planning, and care pathways.
* Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions.
* Provide consultation, support, and training to colleagues and other agencies.
* Engage in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Supervise and support trainee psychologists, assistant psychologists, and other relevant staff, as required.
Qualifications
* Hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
* Hold a Doctorate in Psychology related field.
* Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in child and adolescent development and psychological interventions.
* Relevant post-qualification clinical experience in working with children and families.
* Experience working in child disability, mental health, or early intervention services.
* Additional training in evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, family therapy, attachment-focused interventions).
* Experience in multidisciplinary working and service development.
