ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
·Analyse business needs through joint refinement sessions, meetings, and presentations.
·Assists PO in backlog management and refinement.
·Prepare and maintain documentation including technical requirements.
·Understands technical solution design and can communicate solution details to both business and technical peers.
·Identify process boundaries and develop opportunities to automate processes and functions.
·Develop requirements artifacts, system process flows and associated diagrams and ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements.
·Conduct activity-based analysis of the system processes and to provide recommendations based on the findings.
·Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· BA/BS degree in business or technical related field, or business equivalent
· 3+ years' experience gained as a Business Analyst capturing analysing and documenting requirements.
· Experience creating functional and technical specifications to support the technology teams.
· Well versed in collaboration/tracking tools such as Confluence, Jira or equivalent
· Strong attention to detail and a passion to document as you go for future benefit.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a bonus (however not essential).
· Exposure to creating user stories as a follow on to requirement gathering is a big advantage.
· Strong communication skill and ability to work closely with stakeholders across the business.
· Domain knowledge of the insurance industry desirable (however not essential).

Bonus points for Insurance domain experience (such as working Policy administration systems, Online Quotation systems, CRM/Web Portals, or other equivalent products/services).
