Front Office Manager
To successfully assume responsibility for the Front Office Department in conjunction with relevant heads of department. This role requires ensuring the smooth operation of that department to the highest standards of customer care, while implementing ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrive on duty promptly as scheduled, dressed in a full and presentable uniform at all times, adhering to company grooming policies.
* Organize and chair front office departmental meetings monthly or as required by the General Manager, forwarding minutes for their attention.
* Maintain exceptional personal and work cleanliness and hygiene throughout all duties.
The Front Office Manager is accountable for creating a pleasant experience for guests to ensure their return. Building and strengthening relationships with guests to extend their personal preferences will lead to new hotel customers and future bookings. To remain knowledgeable about competitor activities and benchmark current provisions against them. Work efficiently within set targets - room revenues, occupancies, and rate achievement. Responsible for staff scheduling within allocated constraints.
