Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our logistics and supply chain operations.
This role will be responsible for planning, purchasing, and warehousing activities to support forecasted production plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record in supply chain management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Materials function
* Lead logistics and supply chain team members to meet performance targets
* Develop talent within the team and ensure succession needs are covered
* Nurture positive engagement levels within the Materials and site teams
* Collaborate with site Leadership Team colleagues to deliver Senior Stakeholder expectations
* Manage the supplier base and coordinate procurement of materials
* Maintain relationships with other manufacturing sites and Corporate functions
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management or Logistics
* 5-6 years' experience in a manufacturing industry, including 5 years in a management position
* Knowledge of legal/procedural duties relating to importation/exportation
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
